These moments are fleeting - before you know it, little hands grow bigger, babies learn to walk, and families change. My photo sessions are perfect for every member of your family and are designed to be relaxed, fun, and full of connection. Don’t let these days slip away - create memories you’ll treasure, revisit, and feel in your heart for a lifetime.

Mums and Dads: If you’re the parent who’s always behind the camera, this is your chance to be in the photos too. One day, your children will wonder where you were in their memories. They won’t care if you’re not feeling perfect, because to them, you are their whole world. Let me capture you, your love, and your presence alongside them, so your family’s story is preserved.

Older and younger children: Little giggles, fleeting cuddles. They grow so fast. One day they’re tiny, the next they’re talking, running, and changing before your eyes. Tomorrow they’ll be bigger, don't leave it is too late.

Mums-to-be: My son's are now aged 6 and 4, and I fondly remember my maternity photoshoot. I didn't think I looked great, and wasn't at all confident having photos taken. But, I look at those photos now in awe of how much my body achieved in growing two little tiny humans. I see such strength in those photos, and I am forever grateful that I have them to remember those eight months (my boys were each a month early) that passed in the blink of an eye. A maternity photoshoot with me celebrates your growing bump and the love surrounding this incredible chapter. I cannot stress enough how special these photos turn out to be.

Little sitter's (6–9 months): This is such a wonderful stage! Before they’re crawling, climbing, and exploring. I adore these sessions and the photos truly show your little one's developing personality as they sit, giggle, and charm the camera.

Siblings: How many photos do you have of your children looking in the right direction, smiling, and actually happy to be next to one another? (I hear you!!) Let me take the stress out of capturing those fleeting, playful connections - the giggles, hugs, and moments they will love to see when they are older. Bonus.....also make a beautiful gift for grandparents!

Milestone birthdays: 1st birthday photoshoots, plus the rest! You can celebrate birthdays of any age with a photoshoot. The perfect keepsake!

Grandparents: Often left out of photos, now is the time to include them, preserving their smiles, warmth, and presence.

1. Studio Session – East Grinstead (RH19 2DR) - Held in my studio, these sessions are relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for capturing timeless portraits of your family in a calm environment.

2. 2. Outdoor sessions - available all year round, particularly favourable during April/May for Spring and Bluebell Wood photos, July/August for Summer with the added option of golden hour light, and September/October for Autumnal feels. Every season creates a unique, magical setting for your family photoshoot.

Whether you want to capture playful giggles, quiet connections, or everyone together, we’ll schedule a time and location that works best for you.

To secure your session, a non-refundable booking retainer of £100 is required. This will be deducted from your total package price, with the remaining balance due 48 hours before your session. Travel is included within 20 miles of East Grinstead. A surcharge may apply for locations beyond this distance.

1. Where are you based?

My photography studio is based in East Grinstead, West Sussex. I offer family photography sessions at my East Grinstead studio and on location throughout the South East of England, including Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London.

2. Do you offer outdoor family photography near East Grinstead?

Yes! I photograph families at beautiful outdoor locations around East Grinstead and throughout the South East, particularly at golden hour when the light is soft and flattering. If there’s a location that holds special meaning for your family, I’d love to hear about it - we can often incorporate places that feel personal and significant to you.

3. How far do you travel for family sessions?

While my studio is based in East Grinstead, I regularly travel across West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London for family photography sessions. Travel within 20 miles of East Grinstead is included; a small surcharge may apply for locations beyond this. Please enquire for full details.

4. What should we wear for our family session?

If you’re unsure what to wear, I’m always happy to offer guidance. The most important thing is that you and your family feel comfortable, because when you feel relaxed and confident, it truly shows in your photographs. Plus, don’t worry if your little ones don’t do exactly what you expect - I’m a mum of two little boys, so I understand how unpredictable children can be! I’ll work with their moods and energy to capture natural, joyful moments that reflect your family authentically.

6. How do you work with SEND or neurodivergent families?

I understand that every person is unique, and as a neurodivergent parent myself (my son is autistic, and I have ADHD and autism), I know that traditional posed photography isn’t always possible or comfortable. I don’t make your child sit if they can’t, and I won’t force them to smile or look at the camera. Instead, I focus on capturing natural, joyful moments that reflect your family authentically. Sessions with SEND or neurodivergent families are flexible, calm, and tailored to you and your child’s needs, allowing time for breaks, movement, or any comfort strategies that help them feel safe. The goal is to create beautiful, meaningful images without pressure, so that your family feels relaxed and celebrated exactly as you are.

7. What if I need to rearrange our session?

I completely understand that life with little ones can be unpredictable - sniffles, bugs, or last-minute changes happen! If you need to rearrange your session, please let me know as early as possible and we’ll find a new date that works. Unfortunately, if you do not notify me and don’t attend the session, I will need to keep your non-refundable booking retainer.

8. Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes! I offer photography gift vouchers for all my sessions, including newborn photography, family photography, and Life Stories experiences. They make the perfect baby shower gift, birthday present, or thoughtful surprise for family and friends. Once payment is received, the voucher can be sent via email in a printable format, ready to gift immediately. You can also include a personalised message if you wish.

9. When will we receive our family photos?

Your family photography gallery will be available to view within two weeks via a private online gallery. From there, you’ll be able to select your favourite images, which will then be individually and professionally edited before being delivered to you as high-resolution digital files via secure download.
