I come to your home and gently guide a relaxed, filmed conversation about your life, your early years, family, work, love, challenges, and moments that shaped you. There is no pressure, no performance, and no need to prepare. Just space to talk, remember, and share, all captured with care and respect. What’s created is more than a film. It becomes something to return to, a voice that can be heard again, stories that don’t fade, a sense of presence that remains. For families, it becomes a priceless record. For the person being filmed, it becomes a way to reflect, to be understood, and to know their story has been safely kept. This is not about rushing or fear, it's about choosing to preserve what matters......while you have the chance.

Life Stories is designed to feel calm, comfortable, and unhurried.

Step 1 - I come to your home and set up quietly in a space where you feel most at ease. The filming itself feels more like a relaxed conversation than an interview. I gently guide the discussion, allowing stories to unfold naturally, at your own pace.

Step 2 - If you’d like to include photographs, we can look through those together and incorporate them into the film in a thoughtful way.

Step 3 - Afterwards, I carefully edit the footage into a beautifully finished film, preserving your voice, expressions, and stories just as they were told.

Step 4 - Your completed Life Story is delivered on a keepsake USB, ready to be shared with family and treasured forever.

1. Where are you based?

My Life Stories studio is based in East Grinstead, West Sussex, and I work with clients throughout the South East of England, including East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, and London. Sessions can take place in person at your home or in my studio, making it easy to capture your stories wherever you feel most comfortable.

2. Can Life Stories sessions be done at home?

Yes! I come to your home to create a calm, relaxed environment for your Life Stories interview. This is ideal for capturing your story naturally, surrounded by the people, objects, and memories that matter most. Incorporating old photographs or keepsakes is also possible to make your video even more personal and meaningful.

3. How long does a Life Stories session last?

Sessions vary depending on your chosen package. Essential is up to two hours. Premium is two to three hours. Ultimate is three to four hours. Each session is relaxed and unhurried, giving plenty of time to share your life story fully. A Memory Gathering Questionnaire is completed beforehand to gently guide the conversation and make sure no detail is missed.

5. What if I feel nervous about being filmed?

It’s completely normal to feel nervous. Life Stories sessions are gentle and conversational, not formal interviews. I guide you through the process, creating a relaxed space for sharing your memories. Pauses and breaks are welcome and the session is always shaped around your comfort and needs.

6. How are Life Stories videos delivered?

Your session is professionally edited into a keepsake video that preserves your voice, expressions, and stories exactly as they were shared. You’ll receive your completed Life Stories video on a keepsake USB plus a digital download, ready to share with family and treasure for generations to come.

7. Can photographs or memorabilia be included?

Yes! If you wish, we can incorporate old photographs, letters, or other keepsakes into your Life Stories video. This adds a deeply personal touch and helps to tell your story in a way that’s meaningful for you and your family.

8. Do you sell Life Stories gift vouchers?

Yes! I offer Life Stories gift vouchers, making the perfect birthday, retirement, or family legacy gift. Once payment is received, the voucher can be sent via email in a printable format, ready to gift immediately. Personalised messages can also be included. These are a thoughtful way to preserve someone’s memories and the ideal gift to leave a lasting legacy.

9. How far do you travel for Life Stories sessions?

While based in East Grinstead, I regularly travel across West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Kent, and London for in-home Life Stories sessions. Travel within 20 miles of East Grinstead is included; a small surcharge may apply for locations beyond this.

10. What if I need to reschedule my session?

I understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule, please let me know as early as possible so we can arrange a new date. Sessions are flexible and designed to make the process as stress-free as possible.
